Script Rumor: IRON MAN

The folks over at AICN have reported that IRON MAN scribe Tim McCanlies (THE IRON GIANT, BRUCE WAYNE), while at the Austin Screenwriters Conference, revealed some tid bits to them about his script which is most likely still being written. Among the details they released, the villain will not be a typical super villain type like most comic book translations to the big screen. McCanlies reportedly said he was writing the script, "True to life." His script is rumored to "Pit our hero against a corporate villain with designs on stealing Stark technologies and exploiting them to the detriment of mankind."
