Shyamalan Talks INDIANA JONES 4
November 28th, 2000

Cindy Pearlman of Cinescape caught up with UNBREAKABLE writer/director M. Night Shyamalan (THE SIXTH SENSE) and got some information out of him. On the rumor of his interest in the INDIANA JONES 4 script, he had this to say, "I've got to think about it. There are a lot of things on my plate, and with the actors strike coming up, I'm not sure what I want to do next."
Apparently all this "Indiana Jones talk" was started after Steven Spielberg saw THE SIXTH SENSE "three times" according to Shyamalan. Whether or not there is another Indiana Jones character on screen in the near future is questionable. It would be a miracle for all of the players involved in this rumor to get free from their schedules. I mean, we're talking, Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Shyamalan. It just doesn't seem likely anymore.
