Update: Jon Favreau to Pen Untitled Comedy

Paramount has hired writer/actor Jon Favreau, writer and co-star of SWINGERS, to pen an untitled comedy featuring CBS sitcom stars Ray Romano and Kevin James. According to reports there is no director attached yet.
Recently Favreau has been working on his directorial debut MADE, which he also wrote and will co-star with his SWINGERS buddy Vince Vaughn. Favreau is one of the more sought after writers of late getting offered plenty of writing jobs. He will begin working on a concept and then writing the script quickly, before the possible actors' and writers' strike next spring. Could be a big task to get this project done by then.
