Script Report: THE SUM OF ALL FEARS

It looks like Paramount Pictures has found a director for its upcoming thriller, THE SUM OF ALL FEARS. Harrison Ford was attached to reprise his role of Jack Ryan, but after script issues that apparently could not be worked out, he left the project. Enter Ben Affleck, and suddenly this project went from DOA to the a-train. Akiva Goldman's script is being rewritten and now it is being reported that Phil Alden Robinson (SNEAKERS, FIELD OF DREAMS) is in negotiations to direct.
