Ainitcoolnews.com has a great two part interview up with Quentin Tarantino. Here are some of the highlights:
When asked about his upcoming WWII project, Tarantino confirmed that he wrote it with several actors in mind, namely Adam Sandler??? Well, anyway, he went on to say that he has been researching and writing the film for the past "year and a half." He even took courses on WWII. Once again, Adam Sandler?
As for adapting another Elmore Leonard novel, Tarantino said, "I have a couple Elmore Leonard books, but Im not doing them right now, actually. But there are a couple I could totally do and wouldnt mind doing somewhere along the trail. I want to do a couple of originals next, then go on."
He also mentioned the much talked about Uma Thurman script, saying, "I am doing a movie that Im writing with Uma Thurman in the lead. I actually started writing it 7 years ago and Im finishing writing now. Its a character that me and Uma came up with together."
