Script Report: PITCH BLACK 2 to be Penned by X-MEN Scribe!

Universal Pictures has a scribe for its sequel to the Sci-Fi/Horror PITCH BLACK, PITCH BLACK 2. David Hayter (X-MEN, BURN) has been hired to write the sequel, with Vin Diesel attached to return as Riddick. No official word yet on whether or not David Twohy's treatment will be followed. Its been reported that Hayter's going to be writing the script based on his own idea, which makes it pretty clear that the treatment will probably be forgotten.
