Script Report: Harrison Ford Turns Down THE SUM OF ALL FEARS Script Revision
June 9th, 2000
Yesterday the Hollywood Reporter announced that Harrison Ford has turned down the latest script revision for THE SUM OF ALL FEARS, the lastest adaption of the Tom Clancy novel. However, Ford has already signed a three picture commitment deal to play 'Jack Ryan' for Paramount.
Rumor has it that Oscar-nominated scribe Paul Attanasio (QUIZ SHOW, DONNIE BRASCO) had the latest go at revising the script from Akiva Goldsman's original adaption.
No news on who will do the next adaption and when that will happen. Clearly Paramount is bringing some good screenwriters to the table, so any script problems that exist will get worked out.
