Script Report: DIE HARD 4 scribe to adapt thriller for Columbia Pictures

Jeff King's spec script TEARS OF THE SUN, was at one time considered for the 4th DIE HARD installment. Since then he has had a nice run of work. King is currently polishing BLOOD AND CHOCOLATE for MGM, as well as writing Fox's FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX.
This week it has been reported that he is going to pen the Nelson DeMille thriller THE LIONS GATE for Columbia Pictures. Not bad for yet another TV writer turned motion picture hired gun.
