
How I Write: Preparation

How do you prepare to write your script? Research? Notes? How you start the process is hugely important, but there is no one right way to do it. Some writers take elaborate notes, create note cards, while others talk it through with trusted friends. While still others can let the idea germinate without writing anything down and then just allow it to grow on the page. Anyway, here are some professionals talking about how they prepare to write.
