Three Screenplays every Screenwriter Should Read

The best way to improve your craft is to read the screenplays of produced movies. You don't always have to read scripts to the best movies to learn something. Even flawed stories sometimes had wonderful or good intentioned screenplays.

STRETCH (Link)

A fast paced, edgy, gritty, hip and cool story of love and redemption written with flare and intensity that you come to expect from a Joe Carnahan story.

WINTER'S BONE (Link)

A bleak story of desperation and hope set in Missouri (Ozarks). Beautifully written this tale reveals the hardship and toil of the backwoods culture riddle with drug and crime.

ALL IS LOST (Link)

An interesting story with just a short voiceover as its only written dialogue. The writing is informative, inventive and keeps you turning the page.
