
Ray Wright SELLS pitch "The Witches’ Ballroom" to Dimension Films

According to The Hollywood Reporter, THE CRAZIES co-screenwriter Ray Wright, who also has TV credits, has sold his pitch “The Witches’ Ballroom,” to Dimension Films in what is being described as a pre-emptive bid. Wright is on a roll as his spec script THE WINDOW recently was picked up by Vendome. According to the report, “The Witches’ Ballroom” will be produced by Shawn Levy and Dan Levine at 21 Laps. The logline is currently being kept under wraps. The deal was negotiated by Adrian Lopez and Signer and on behalf of Wright by UTA and attorney Mark Temple. “It’s exciting when an original idea takes off, particularly psychological horror which is such a visceral thrill to write. Dimension is the perfect home for it,” said Wright.
